Sometimes, in the midst of the chaos, the challenges, the tears, and the disappointments of life, we can lose sight of who we are and more importantly, whose we are.
As we begin this new year, can I remind you that you are so very precious! No matter what you have been through, no matter what you are dealing with at this very moment…..God loves YOU! You are HIS beloved, beautiful daughter. Believe it, my dear sister. This means you do not have to rely on your husband, your mom, your dad, or your best friend to validate who you are. Christ has already done that! His love letter to you declares that you are dearly loved (Eph 5:1). He has clothed you in strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25). You wear His robe of righteousness (Is 61:10). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Your worth is far more than that of rubies. (Prov 31:10)
The enemy of our souls wants us to believe the lies that we have spoken about ourselves or that others have spoken over us so that we will not fulfill the purposes God has for us. He is out to completely destroy our influence upon the Kingdom of God. We need to train our ears to hear the Spirit of God more than the voice of the enemy or even our own.
My dear sister, don’t waste another moment, another year, allowing the enemy to keep you from your GOD given destiny. Expose the lies that you have believed and replace them with God’s TRUTH.
Your worth is NOT based on what others think of you, on what your husband does or doesn’t do. Your value, worth, and identity is based on GOD’s TRUTH.
Instead of New Year’s resolutions, what is that ONE thing that you can focus on that can revolutionize your daily walk? I believe it starts with a revelation knowledge of how very much God loves you! This knowledge must get from your head to your heart. Once that is settled, your relationship with Jesus will deepen…you will face every situation with an underlying peace that God is in control. You will be confident that no matter what happens, Your Father God is with you and will turn ALL things together for good. Your beauty will be that of a woman full of God’s Glory and grace. You will love others with the love that He has given you. His light in you will cast away the shadows that may surround others that God places in your path.
I pray that as daughters of the KING of KINGS, we will be so deeply secure in His love that NOTHING will move us.
Girlfriends, let’s take back our God given strength and dignity that the enemy has stolen and move forward into the plans and purposes that God has for each one of us.
Blessings to you, beautiful one, in 2018!
